June 8-9th: Oregon Mountain Cruise Car Show

July 20-22nd: Nez Perce Tamkaliks Celebration

The Annual Tamkaliks Celebration (formerly Wallowa Band Descendants Friendship Feast & Pow Wow) is a celebration and recognition of the continuing Nez Perce presence in the Wallowa Valley. The Wallowa County Pilots Association and Chief Joseph Flying Club will be holding their Annual Breakfast and flying event opening on Saturday at 7 AM. Exhibits, Rides and Antique Aircraft on display- open to the public.

Oregon's Alpenfest is a fun-filled four-day celebration of Alpine culture, cuisine and liquid refreshment in Oregon's Little Switzerland.

To celebrate our 40th anniversary festival, the theme is "40 Years of Alpenfest Memories.” Enjoy polka music, folk dancing, alphorn music and Swiss yodeling plus bratwurst, sauerkraut, strudel and Terminal Gravity's seasonal Alpenfest Ale.

January 17-20: Eagle Cap Extreme Sled Dog Race

Join us for some four-legged fun at the Annual Eagle Cap Extreme. Meet the Mushers and their doggie Superstars the day before (Wednesday) at the Vet Checks in Joseph and Enterprise. Come to the race start and witness the the energy as these dogs do what they love: RUN! We run 22, 62, 100 and 200 mile races. Our 200 mile race is Oregon's only Iditarod and Yukon Quest Qualifier. The start and finish for both races is at Ferguson Ridge Ski area just a few miles outside of Joseph. Afterwards there is an Awards Banquet open to the public.
