Joseph Oregon on a beautiful, after-sunset evening in late fall, 2019. While most visit the area in the warm summer months, the peace and quiet found after the main tourist season brings the sounds of nature into sharp focus.
On this evening, a flock of Canadian Geese could be heard well before they were sighted, and as they flew overhead the sounds of their whistling wings were audible between their echoing honks.
