August 25-26th: Wallowa Mountain Cruise Car Show

Come join us for a fun filled weekend for the new Wallowa Mountain Cruise Car Show.

It’s one of the best little car shows in the Northwest. Up to 200 antique cars and hot rods take over Joseph's beautiful main street to redefine AWESOME!

This event was formailiy known as the Oregon Mountain Cruise and was created by Chuck Garrett of Moonlight Graphics and Jim “Ragman” Tuschhoff in 1988. It is now directed by the Joseph Chamber with the help and grants from the local community. Origionally held in early June, the show got rained on about half the time - it's now in a dry time of the year.

Event Information

Friday August 22, 2023

Registration & Friday Night Social Hour 4:30-6:00pm:

Registration is outside at Joseph Community Center. Pick up your registration packets, goody bags, itinerary & parking information. Enjoy complimentary snacks ( this is not dinner but is a few snacks). Beer & Wine available for purchase.
THIS IS FOR PRE-REGISTERED CRUISERS ONLY.

Cruise Dance 5-8pm:

In the streets near Joseph Community Center after Friday night social. Live music by “Good Question”. You don’t want to miss this party. Mixed drinks, beer, wine and food available for purchase. (Adults only, 21 and older). Sponsored by Joseph Chamber of Commerce. Please don’t drink and drive.

Saturday August 26, 2023

Show-N-Shine 9am-3pm:

Main Street, Joseph – Parking begins at 7am-9am. NO EARLY PARKING.

Show your car and compete for awards.

  • Live Music 11am-3pm: Music on Main Street:
  • Music provided by: “Good Question””
  • Voting 9am-12pm: Vote for your favorite cars.

“Ragman Memorial Cruise” to Enterprise 3pm-4pm:

Cruise 12 miles round trip to Enterprise and parade up Main Street in honor of the OMC co-founder Jim “Ragman” Tuschhoff.

Awards 5pm-6pm:

Trophies, awards and raffle are held outside in the Community Center parking lot after dinner. Please bring a lawn chair & blanket and enjoy the cool mountain air outside. Some of our trophy winners will be featured in our “Winners’ Circle“ following the awards.

Dinner approx. 6pm-8pm:

In the streets near Joseph Community Center. A fully catered dinner is served starting at 5pm. Beer & wine available for purchase.

Pre-Registration

Limited to 200 Pre-Registered Vehicles

Registration for WMC 2023 will begin early in 2023.

Vehicle Classes

All registered cruisers vote for cars in all the categories and their choice for "King of the Mtn". We tried to make our classes fun and unique, so pick the best category on the registration form and good luck.

  1. Car Classic Restored – Has been maintained in or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformity with manufacturer’s appearance
  2. Car Modified/Custom – Car that has been changed to the owner’s preference in order to personalize its appearance, body modifications, engine modifications.
  3. Hot Rod – Car that has been specifically modified to give it extra power and speed
  4. Shifts & Giggles – Vehicles that do not meet other categories; unrestored, meant to entertain or befuddle. Ex: Moonshine hauler, rat rod, limo, school bus, etc.
  5. Sports Car – Designed by the manufacturer with an emphasis on dynamic performance
  6. Truck Restored – Vehicles designed to haul good and materials.
  7. Truck Un-Restored – Vehicles designed to haul good and materials.
  8. 4x4 - 4-wheel drive vehicles designed for more rugged terrain that have been restored.
  9. Wallowa County – Owner housed in, and vehicle garaged in Wallowa County
  10. No Judging – Just here for the fun of it; vehicle does not receive a number for judging.
